We require a 24 hour scheduling notice to ensure there is adequate spacing.

In order to qualify for admission, all dogs must be up to date on the following:

1. Rabies/Distemper vaccine in occurrence to MA state law
2. Bordetella (Kennel Cough) vaccine done EVERY 6 months
3. Monthly flea/tick prevention - proof is required (Recent receipt)
4. Negative fecal sample within the last 6 months
5. Temperament test on select breeds (Pitbulls, German Shepards, Rescue/Mix Breeds, Intact males, etc. no
6. Meet/Greet *Mandatory* - At a cost of $12.50 a tour of the facility is scheduled where you meet the owner, staff, and the rest of the pack to ensure this is the best fit for you and your furry loved one.
7. Completed application/authorization forms - can be submitted electronically or in person.

Our overnight boarding is set up in either our Dedham or Dorchester location depending on space and availability. Our facilities are set up as a kennel-free environment. During bed time, dogs are either in their own room or can freely roam on comfortable dog bedding. Dogs are supervised at all times by opening, closing and overnight staff members. Accommodations and special requests can be made with ample notice.

(Dogs can be crated upon request)

Our facility is separated into two levels with multiple gated and fenced-off smaller sections. This is to ensure all dogs, despite age and/or personality can coexist in a stress-free environment. All dogs are properly screened, integrated and separated into groups with other dogs of matching size/personality.

In addition, we have a puppies and seniors ONLY section to provide extra comfort and supervision.

Facility Boarding - $95/Night
Dogs get to play in our spacious play areas and choose from various enriching toys, activities and up to two trips to the dog park within walking distance and fully fenced in! Trips to the dog park usually last no more than 30 minutes and are weather and breed dependent. Dogs have access to clean, fresh water at all times and have access to bedding when they need to rest.
Nap time is available upon request.

Staff Home Boarding - $110/Night
This option is perfect for nervous, reactive, senior, and/or unvaccinated dogs. Dogs are kept overnight at a trusted staff member's home equipped with K9 overnight amenities. Dogs will be fed meals according to schedule and provided with walks every 2-3 hours and daily dog park trips.This boarding stay comes with the option of daycare play dates.

Client Home Boarding - $125/Night
This option is perfect for nervous, reactive, senior, and/or unvaccinated dogs. A trusted staff member will board your dog in the comfort of their home. Dogs will be fed meals according to schedule and provided with walks every 2-3 hours and daily dog park trips.This boarding stay comes with the option of daycare play dates.

A proper guest room is required for this option.

Our staff follow a strict daily routine to ensure all dogs' needs are being properly met.

Breakfast - 8-9:00am
Lunch - 12-1:00pm
Dinner - 5-6:00pm

Facility Boarding: $95/night
Staff Home Boarding: $110/night
Client Home Boarding: $125/night

Note:

• There is an additional $10 fee for all intact dogs AND puppies under 12 months of age.
• Stays extending over 5 nights are subject to a 15% discount.
• A 50% deposit is required to guarantee your stay.

Payment is expected prior to the start of services. Please note that our company does not issue refunds. We are not responsible for any damage/loss of property, injuries or death of animals in our care.

You will only need to provide your dog's food properly labeled with feeding instructions. A small blanket from home is recommended but not required. The scent from home usually helps transition pets into their overnight stay. The facility will provide clean bedding, bowls and crates if needed for each individual guest. Lady & the Leash is not liable for any lost and/or damaged personal belongings.

Dogs are kept inside and taken for short walks on weather impeding days to ensure K9 and staff safety.
